American Piledriving Equipment (APE)

U.S. manufacturer of deep foundation machinery - vibratory hammers, diesel and hydraulic impact hammers, power units, pile rigs - sold or rented directly to contractors.

American Piledriving Equipment (APE) is a U.S. original-equipment manufacturer of deep foundation construction machinery. The company designs, manufactures, loads and ships its own equipment in-house, selling or renting it directly to contractors. Its product range spans vibratory drivers and extractors (41 variations), diesel hammers (38 variations), hydraulic impact hammers, top-drive augers, HD and Wick drivers, pile rigs, power units, and clamps, beams and leader systems.

Diesel and powertrain technology sits at the core of the range. APE's diesel hammer line runs to 38 variations, complemented by hydraulic impact hammers and power units rated at up to 1,200 horsepower each. The Dodecakong system synchronises 12 Super Kong vibratory hammers, each backed by a 1,200-horsepower power unit, and was used to drive a 98-foot-diameter pile - a world record for the largest pile driven. The Silverback product line covers the company's emphasis on strength, reliability and field-tested performance.

The company operates 10 branch locations in the United States and distributes worldwide, with presence in Canada, Mexico and Asia. Technical support is delivered through training, manuals, service bulletins, parts, repairs, rentals and jobsite assistance. APE reports decades of operating experience and piles driven in the millions.
