ASRC Industrial Services (AIS) is a family of companies formed in 2016 to serve public- and private-sector clients across the United States. Its work spans industrial contracting, construction, maintenance services, environmental remediation and related professional services. Field and technical staff are employed through a geographically distributed set of companies, with teams positioned close to clients, communities and job sites rather than concentrated in a single headquarters.
The business is organised around two principal operating groups. The Industrial group provides industrial contracting, construction and maintenance services; the Environmental group provides environmental solutions and remediation. AIS retains the local expertise and identities of the companies it brings together rather than replacing them, and describes itself as a people-oriented organisation built on respect for people, land and hard work.
AIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), the Iñupiaq-owned regional corporation for the Arctic Slope region of Alaska, and was created as an ASRC platform company. It aims at safe, responsible and sustainable growth while generating returns for ASRC shareholders. The group reports national reach across the United States while keeping operations near the communities in which its people work.
