Mar-Jac Poultry

Family-founded integrated poultry company (est. 1954) that mills feed, raises and processes chickens, and ships foodservice chicken cuts, specialty items and exports worldwide.

Mar-Jac Poultry is a family-founded, fully integrated poultry company established in 1954 by brothers Marvin and Jack McKibbon in Northeast Georgia. Its operations cover feed milling, raising chickens, processing chicken products and shipping them, with a plant in Gainesville, Georgia. The business was started to serve local growers by avoiding long-distance transport of live chickens, and it remains family-owned.

The technical scope of the work spans feed milling, poultry production, poultry processing, food safety and inspection, and supply-chain and shipment logistics. Chickens are raised cage-free and fed an all-natural diet. The company works with the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service to meet federal food-safety standards, and its Gainesville, Georgia plant has been Halal certified since 1985.

Mar-Jac processes standard chicken cuts primarily for foodservice customers, including wholesale distributors and national fast-food restaurants, alongside a line of specialty poultry items. Chicken products are also exported to customers around the world. The company's footprint reaches from Northeast Georgia to global export markets, operating across poultry processing, foodservice, wholesale food distribution, quick-service restaurants, food exports and agriculture and animal feed.
