Plastic Express

Plastic Express is a veteran-owned logistics company operating a fleet of roughly 250 trucks across bulk trucking, terminal, packaging, rail, and warehousing services nationwide.

Plastic Express, founded in 1970, is the largest veteran-owned and operated logistics company in the United States. Headquartered in Montgomery, Texas, the company employs over 600 people across more than 40 bulk terminals, 52 railcar terminals, and 22 full-service facilities positioned near nine major U.S. ports. Its operations span the East Coast, West Coast, and points in between.

The company's bulk trucking division operates a fleet of approximately 250 trucks and 250 trailers, hauling dry bulk materials for the plastics industry as well as paper rolls, steel, and building materials. The fleet is equipped with modern GPS equipment, and the company maintains what it describes as excellent driver retention. Plastic Express complies with EPA SmartWay regulations as part of its commitment to safety.

Beyond trucking, Plastic Express runs bulk terminal operations, rail logistics, packaging services (with capacity to package over twelve railcars per day), and warehousing. Its warehousing and packaging facilities are ISO 9001-2008 certified, with major facilities on both the East and West Coasts. The company's integrated model means diesel technicians may encounter a range of equipment across trucking, terminal, and rail operations.
