The company was founded in 1968 by Ron Offutt, a potato farmer from Moorhead, Minnesota, and opened its first store in Casselton, North Dakota. It now operates from more than 80 locations across 10 states and employs more than 2,700 team members, with a Field Support Office in Fargo, North Dakota, staffed by nearly 375 people.
