Reworld (formerly Covanta) is a North American waste solutions provider running 90+ facilities for waste-to-energy, resource recovery, engineered fuels, wastewater treatment and logistics.

Reworld Projects, LLC, formerly known as Covanta, is a sustainable waste solutions provider serving businesses and communities across North America. The company manages refuse through waste processing and resource recovery, converting it into energy, engineered fuels, recovered metals and recycled materials. It employs approximately 4,500 people and serves more than 3,000 commercial and municipal customers.

Operations are spread across more than 90 facilities owned or operated in North America, processing 20 million tons of waste a year at a 97% landfill diversion rate. Alongside waste-to-energy generation - more than 10 million megawatt hours of electricity annually - the company runs metal recovery and recycling, recovering 500,000 tons of metal and recycling or reusing 1.8 million tons of material each year. Logistics services supporting these operations are delivered under the ReMove name.

The company's service lines include ReDirect360, zero-waste-to-landfill programmes for businesses and municipalities; ReKiln, engineered fuels made from waste materials; ReDrop, wastewater treatment that recycles 280 million gallons a year; and ReMove, logistics support. Technical domains span waste-to-energy, wastewater treatment, engineered fuels production, metal recovery and recycling, and landfill diversion.

Reworld was acquired by EQT Infrastructure in 2021. The company describes its work in terms of circular economy principles and measurable environmental outcomes at scale, including helping partners reach carbon-negative results.
