TCI Transportation

TCI Transportation is a family-owned transportation company founded in 1978 in Commerce, California, and operating more than 25 locations across the United States. It began as a full-service equipment leasing and rental operation with three trucks and has since grown to a fleet of over 3,800 trucks, tractors, and trailers, employing more than 1,900 people.

Maintenance is central to the business. TCI provides full-service leasing - its original business line - alongside contract maintenance for customer fleets, commercial truck and equipment rental, and yard management. The scale of the fleet and the company's leasing and rental commitments give technicians exposure to a broad range of equipment and to scheduled and unscheduled repair work on both company and customer assets.

The wider operation spans dedicated logistics, freight brokerage, intermodal shipping, truckload and less-than-truckload transportation, and auto parts delivery for the automotive sector. TCI serves customers coast to coast in the United States.

The company remains under second-generation family leadership, with co-presidents Andrew and Ryan Flynn; it was founded by Gerry Flynn.
