Allan Myers, Inc.

Family-owned heavy civil contractor and materials supplier in the Mid-Atlantic, self-performing highway, bridge, water and paving projects and running 24 asphalt plants and quarries.

Allan Myers, Inc. is a family-owned heavy civil contractor and construction materials supplier serving the Mid-Atlantic region. The company operates as a self-performing contractor, handling the construction of transportation projects including highways and bridges, water and wastewater systems, paving, and site development, while also producing its own asphalt and quarry-sourced aggregates. This vertical integration of raw material production with construction work underpins what the company describes as the largest heavy civil construction and materials business in the Mid-Atlantic.

The scale of its operations is substantial: 24 asphalt plants and quarries in production, supported by eight regional offices across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. Founded in 1939 in Worcester, Pennsylvania by Allan A. and Allan C. Myers, father and son, the business began when six dairy cows were sold to buy a 1939 Ford dump truck. It has remained family-run since, now under the fourth generation of Myers family leadership, with long-serving senior leaders working alongside them.

Work is grounded in a self-performing model across both construction and materials production, with stated values of hard work, integrity, safety and quality. The company's operations span heavy civil construction, asphalt production, aggregate quarrying, paving, and highway, bridge, water and wastewater infrastructure.
