Builders Warehouse

Builders Warehouse is a family-owned, multi-division building-materials company founded in 1977 by Myron Andersen. It supplies lumber, building materials and home-improvement products to contractors, builders, remodelers and do-it-yourself customers, supported by design, manufacturing, delivery and installation services. Lumber and building-material locations operate in Kearney, Nebraska and Grand Island, Nebraska, alongside Builders Colorado in Aurora, Colorado.

The company runs a series of specialised divisions. Edge & Stone Countertops handles countertop manufacturing and supply, while Central States Component Systems manufactures trusses and wall panels. Design centres provide design consultation along with drafting and estimating services for projects of every size, and installed-sales operations carry customers from product selection through installation.

Technical work spans countertop manufacturing, truss and wall-panel manufacturing, drafting and estimating, design consulting and installed sales. The product range covers lumber, doors, windows, roofing, siding, decking and insulation, as well as cabinetry, countertops, appliances, paint, lighting, tools and flooring; separate online stores sell hardware, appliances, flooring and lighting.

Builders states that it was founded on the principle of serving customers with courtesy and respect, with an emphasis on helping contractors, builders, remodelers and do-it-yourself customers find practical solutions and supporting projects of every size.
