Woodgrain
Family-owned, vertically integrated manufacturer of mouldings, millwork, doors, windows, lumber and other wood building products, with operations across the United States and South America.
Woodgrain is a vertically integrated, family-owned manufacturer of wood products, founded in 1954 as Dame Lumber and Moulding Company in Utah. The company produces mouldings and millwork, doors, windows, lumber, particleboard, heating pellets, animal bedding and outdoor building products for residential and commercial construction markets. Its operations span sawmilling, component manufacturing and distribution, with manufacturing facilities, warehouses and offices across the United States and in South America. Headquarters are in Fruitland, Idaho.
The firm controls much of its own supply chain, from sustainable timber procurement through sawmill operations to finished goods and logistics, giving it direct oversight of quality, supply and delivery. Its lumber is produced in-house via sawmills, while its particleboard and pellet lines convert raw material into additional product streams. The door and window businesses, along with parts of the lumber and distribution network, were added through strategic acquisitions.
Woodgrain remains privately held, with no external funding disclosed. Leadership is now in its third generation: Todd Dame serves as President and CEO. Technical work across the company touches wood products manufacturing, sawmilling, component production, sustainable timber procurement and distribution and logistics.
