IBP

IBP, formally Installed Building Products, is an installation contractor for insulation and other building products, working with residential and commercial builders across the United States. Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the company employs more than 10,000 people at upwards of 250 locations nationwide. It is one of the country's largest installers of insulation in new homes, and its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker IBP.

Insulation is the core of the business: crews install both fiberglass and spray foam insulation, alongside work on energy-efficiency and carbon-emissions reduction for builders. Beyond insulation, IBP installs rain gutters, garage doors, shower doors, mirrors, bath hardware, closet shelving, window blinds, fireplaces and door locksets. The company serves homebuilding, residential new construction and commercial construction markets.
