ManTech

ManTech is an American defense contracting firm founded in 1968 and headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, with roots in New Jersey. The company provides advanced technologies and solutions to the U.S. Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies, and it has served national security missions for more than 55 years. It employs more than 9,000 people.

Its technical work spans cyber operations, data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital modernization, systems engineering, Agile DevSecOps and cloud-native architectures. Four principal lines of business are named: Cyberspace Superiority, which covers full-spectrum cyber operations to anticipate and counter digital threats; Data and Artificial Intelligence, which turns fragmented data into actionable insights for faster decision-making; Digital Modernization and Systems Engineering, built on Agile DevSecOps and cloud-native architectures; and Intelligent Engineering, which supports defense and space missions.

The firm works across the defense, space, intelligence, homeland security and federal civilian sectors, as well as the commercial market. Nearly 40% of its workforce are veterans, and many employees are recruited from the Intelligence Community and Homeland Security agencies.
