Milwaukee County

Milwaukee County is a governmental entity in southeastern Wisconsin and the administrative hub for the 39th largest regional economy in the United States. Established in 1835, it provides essential public services to more than 900,000 residents across 19 communities; the City of Milwaukee itself has approximately 595,000 residents. David Crowley has served as County Executive since May 2020, when he was sworn in as the youngest county executive in Milwaukee County history and the first Black leader elected to the role.
