River Valley Cooperative

River Valley Cooperative is a member-owned agricultural cooperative founded in 1906, serving more than 3,300 farm business owners from 43 locations across eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Its energy department delivers propane and refined fuels and offers monitored tank services; other divisions supply bulk feed for swine and poultry, agronomy inputs, and grain handling and marketing.

The cooperative's operations span several distinct technical areas. Agronomy services cover seed, fertilizer, crop protection products and custom application of agricultural inputs, while a precision agriculture team, marketed as Decision Ag, provides data-driven services to producers. Grain marketing operations run flexible contracting options and efficient delivery systems, and the feed division supplies bulk feed to livestock producers.

River Valley Cooperative also works in soil health documentation through a partnership with Truterra and participates in TruCarbon carbon credit programs. Its stated mission is centred on the success of its customers, employees and communities, and it supports local agricultural organisations, educational opportunities and community initiatives.
